TW DMH-033F Liquid Line Filter Drier 3/8″ ODS Flare (UV Dye Wafer inc.) Dry All

Dry All  & Spectroline- USA introduces the world’s first Steel Drier with in-built Fluorescent Dye. This helps detect leak in a HVAC&R System quickly with help from a UV Torch only. The fluorescent dye is in-built into the filter drier at the time of manufacturing through a patented Tracer Wafer® (TW) from Spectroline.

Description on how it works 

• Tracer Wafer charged with fluorescent dye is placed along with the desiccant.
• When the system starts dye in Wafer is Released and mixes with lubricant and circulates with the oil & refrigerant.
• In case of leak, Dye / Oil mixture escapes with the Refrigerant leaving a mark at point of leak.
• Exact point of leak is easily visible with the help of Ultraviolet (UV) Flashlight through yellow glasses.
• After repair wipe off the residual dye using a ‘Glow Away’ or similar cleaner.
